FlySentry attracts flies. As a general rule, don't install units inside without trying them outside first.
You want to create a fly-free zone. So place the units around the perimeter of the area - usually about 20 feet apart does the trick. Place the units near active egg laying sites; dumpsters at restaurants, manure piles at barns.
Start with two FlySentry Silos at the manure pile.
Install at least one FlySentry Silo every 20 feet around the exterior of the barn. Place another FlySentry Silo in the wash and groom area inside. To protect the paddocks, install one FlySentry Silo on either side of the gate, on the outside of the paddock. Install all Silos according to instructions and in places where horses are unlikely to bump into them.
Start with two FlySentry Silos near the dumpster.
Install one FlySentry Silo outside the restaurant's back door. Place FlySentry Mini Silos, Duo Silos, or Micro Silos inside where fruit fly or drain fly problems exist.
(Follow bait label instructions for exact placement.) To protect an outside dining area, install at least two FlySentry Silos or FlySentry mini Silos just beyond
the perimeter. For larger patios, place a FlySentry Silo every 20 feet around the perimeter.
